    Great dual fuel 3500 watt genrator.

    Looked like new, did have small problem with gas leak on carburetor, fuel bowl gasket out of place, easy fix for me, after that everything else worked great, no problem with propane part of carburetor, started easy on gasoline or propane.

    Need a better shipper.

    I received this product damaged in the box. It was either dropped or compressed, the engine was pushed upward towards the gas tank and thus broke the the wire leading to the spark plug. This product was unusable coming out the box and required 115.00 for replacement of damaged parts and labor.

    "Top shelf generator on a tight money budget"

    It is a concern with heavy items in shipping that they become damaged, this generator arrived perfectly intact with no damage from being packed properly. For a reconditioned unit, mine appeared to be brand new. I put oil in the motor (you supply) and attached the supplied propane tank hose to my tank, flipped the choke on the motor, turned the power switch on, pulled the recoil handle and it started on the first pull. I was surprised that the recoil took very little effort to pull and how quiet this generator is. I have used many different generators over the years with different motors and I would put this generator as top shelf.

    Sportsman generator - reliable for back up power

    We bought this generator to use as an emergency unit to operate (2) sump pumps in the event of electrical power failure - which happens fairly frequently in this rural location. If the sump pumps do not operate the basement will flood. The Sportsman starts quickly and easily and is reliable. For our application, recoil start is preferable to electric; there is no need to maintain a battery. LP is preferable to gasoline because carburetor contamination is eliminated. This is the second Sportsman we have bought; both have proved to be excellent.

    Good value for the price

    I like that it will run on propane and is a low cost generator. Kinda loud but didn’t want to spend the $$ to get a super quiet one. I bought refurbished but is brand new from what I can see. Overall I’m happy with the purchase.
