Shipping was fast, item as described. Other than a couple of marks, item was in new condition. Had to put the battery on trickle charger overnight. The next day, added gas and made sure oil was were it needed to be (see manual). Fired right up, then tried propane and that also seem to work fine. It is not a quite machine, but for the price, power and peace of mind, it's a good value.

1. Shipping: It shipped and arrived earlier than expected. The delivery driver from RL Carriers was awesome. He called about an hour prior to delivery. 2. Product: It arrived in a new box, on a pallet and appeared to be almost brand new. There was oil/gas residue on the inside of the box from previous testing. 3. Startup: I filled the oil as directed. I put gas in the tank. I connect battery and followed the startup instructions. It started immediatly. I was very impressed and relieved.

My purchase experience was positive. The Forman generator shipped and arrived right on time. The packaging was very well done and my factory refurbished tri-fuel generator looked brand new. I assembled it in a matter of minutes and hooked up the connections to my household natural gas line. I followed the starting instructions, and the unit started instantly and ran smoothly, with virtually no odor, and more quietly than its gasoline fueled predecessor. I feel that I have a great product.

Great refurbished unit. Would buy again, but requires unusual fittings for natural gas operation.
I bought this unit specifically to run on natural gas. The gas supply needed to have several specialized brass fittings and a pressure reducer to get the proper pressure to the generator. Once all of the those parts were assembled and connected, the unit started up easily and ran flawlessly. Very nice unit and actually not as loud as others I have owned. Purchased for backup power during hurricane season and hopefully will never have to use it. Other generators come with a quart of oil and a funnel, this one did not, kind of a minor annoyance. This unit was a refurbished unit and it looks and performs like a brand new unit. If not for the oil and the unusual fittings and reducer for the gas supply, I would have rated it 5 stars. Almost, but not quite
Delivered by trucking company on a pallet right to my door. No damage to box but upon unboxing , the moving handle was bent and a bolt, washer, and cotter pin were missing from the handle. Could have possibly happened in shipping. A rubber mallet and my spare parts bin and we were good to go. Unit is shipped with no oil. I decided to use full synthetic in case of the need for a cold winter start. I filled crankcase to the appropriate level and let it set as I wanted to gas it up and put fuel preservative in the fuel. I was out of fuel preservative. When I came back a substantial amount of the oil had leaked out onto the floor. I cleaned this up and put clean white paper underneath to determine location of leak. It was the drain plug. It was “ monkey grip “ tight but obviously not ... Delivered by trucking company on a pallet right to my door. Looking forward to getting many years of good service out of it.

Nice "Newish" Generator
I took a chance buying a refurbished model because they gave me such a great deal! It was a good choice...this thing looks brand new. I doubt this thing has ever been used. I did a lot of research before buying and saw a few people had trouble with it starting. This one did that also, but all I did was slightly move the choke while hitting the starter and it started right up and ran like a champ. I still need to test it on Propane and Natural Gas once I get a hookup installed. I know they sold thousands of these at Costco last year, so I am sure they had a lot of returns that were used very little or not at all... I would recommend this to anyone if all of the products are as nice as this one! They did, however, forget to put the funnel, quick start guide and spark plug wrench in ... Awesome Generator
When I unboxed it I couldn’t believe it. Dang thing looked new. I hooked it up to a propane tank and in the first few cranks it fired up and ran great. I let it run for about 15 minutes checking switches, outlets and voltage’s If your looking to buy a generator you should check this one out. Great price and a 2 year warranty. Can’t beat that. Great deal on a quality machine.
It runs our well and house light, refrigerator when the power goes out in bad storms. I can easily store in the garage. I load it on my trailer and use it to run my welder on jobs around the farm. I’m extremely pleased with it.
