I had one for 4 years and used it often then it quit working. I would mop with a swiffer and then use this. The amount of dirt that was picked up the steam mop was gross. So I now only use this.

Love it!!

This is the best money I've ever spent this steam mop is that standing you don't have to use chemicals. It just uses water and it cleans and easy to use. It's not heavy. I use this at home and I also use it at my shop the mop pads you just take them off stick them in the wash, I don't put softener just a note if you want to spray like some kind of floor cleaner before and then go over it with the mop, you can do that as well the mop itself is outstanding!

It's really gives you deep clean floor very worth it to have in the house

Super Clean!

I was skeptical….took me 6 mos to finally make the purchase. I’m so mad I waited….works great! Pics are after moping with spin mop with Mr. Clean solution mixed with Lysol concentrate….then after steam mop. Can really tell the difference! I’d purchase again for sure.

Got this being less than optimistic with the price, but I figured why not. Let me tell you this thing WORKS! I did my usual mopping, fresh mop head, boiling water, and my floor cleaner and decided to go ahead and test it out, thinking it would pick nothing up... Boy, was I wrong! I was shocked to see how "dirty" my floors were but so happy that I know they are cleaner than ever now.

When I ordered the Shark steam mop the price was $59.00. I'm sure of it because it was $30 less than the equivalent Bissell. I'm on a tight budget, otherwise I would have ordered the Bissell. My floors really, really needed a good cleaning, so I used the Shark as soon as it was delivered. One other this I really hate is that this mop does stand up when not in use. I prop it up, but it falls over most of the time.  I doubt I can return it or get a credit for the inflated price, but I'm going to check on it anyway. If I can get $30 credit, I'll keep it. If not I'll try to return it and order the Bissell.

Should have gotten the Bissell

I have had a shark steam mop for years. the last one i had looked just like this, but in white from Target. The one from taget has 1 additional function that says scrub which i loved. this works but the other one is better.

Doesn't seem to really clean the floor.  The steam isn't very strong.  It's not direct on the floor and has to go through the mop cover.  I need to wet the mop cover first to feel like my floor is getting clean enough.

Wish the steam sprayed Forest on the floor.

I have had the old shark steamer that came with a vacuum. That freebie was 10xs better than this shark steamer.  It regulates how much or often steam released. You have to go over areas 10xs to get cleaned.  I'm planning on returning and get a steamer that has more power or more steam relaasing when needed

I tried to use the Allstate warranty as the steamer had a burning smell after I plugged it in while waiting for it to heat to steam the floor. This happened several years ago and I was refunded my purchase price and I bought another one. The steamer is amazing. Better than the newer model. So I purchased it again as I really like this particular model. When I looked at the warranty it specifically states that it covers surges. That is what I had a diagnosis of the machine that I was denied for. Very frustrating. And no one at Walmart has been helpful. 
Great steamer but useless extended warranty.
