Bought this canopy to replace our broken beach umbrella. Love it so far. It is lightweight

Beach Canopy

I really loved the size of this beach tent- it is very compact and easy to carry. I liked how easy it was to set up (with the picture online) and take down. The overall size was perfect and I could easily fit myself and 4 kids underneath the tent. I also liked that I could easily adjust the sand bags and poles when the direction of the sun moved.

Two things could improve this product- first, directions for assembly. I had the picture and order on my phone. But my husband did not have it so he was a bit confused without written directions. The setup was easy once he could see the picture. Second, the beach that we attended was very windy and the poles seemed to bend a little too easy with the wind.

Worth it- compact, adjustable and easy!

This came nicely packaged with a carrier.  We can't wait to use it on our beach trip later this month!  I didn't see instructions, but it seems like it should be an easy set up!  Can't add the 5th star until we have actually used it!

This thing works. 
Pro: very compact. Easy to set up (tips: fill the sandbags first). Easier to collapse and pack. Provides shade enough for two adults to fully lie down. Good ventilation. 
Cons: surely still a little more work than an umbrella. If you want even more shade you have to place the sandbags further which is not very nice on a crowded beach.
Withstand moderate winds. We never had wind more than 10m/h though.

It works

Size of packed sun shade is very small. Can easily fit in carry-on bag. Lightweight. You will probably need to replace the stakes with better quality ones. Pretty sky blue color.

We never got this set up. Waste of money. 6 adults. There is zero ease to this set up. We ended up half way rigging it by attaching it to somewhat weighted items we had. Kudos to ppl who had success with this.

Piece of flimsy crap.  Lines aren't even attached to the shade - no instructions.  Plastic retainers on the lines fall off.   Garbage.
