Got it for long drives and occasional basketball inflator. We have two toddlers with many bikes and more to come... This air compressor tops up all the kids tyres. We travel at night time and a lesson learnt while coming back from Canada was there are no places to fill your car tyre with air at 3 am. This inflator does the trick and is tucked away in the trunk. With AAA and other roadside assistance too you have to wait for them to show. The inflator itself is contact and has a good display. Am very happy that it comes in a carry bag and also many attachments for other uses. Definitely recommended for travellers.

Nifty equipment to have

I was able to check all four tires and inflate them to their proper pressure.  Small but powerful gizmo, and comes in a convenient zippered carry case.  $20 well spent!

Did the job!

Great compact air pump.  Fills a car tire in a matter of minutes.  I like the way the air hose screws onto the schrader valve.  Priced much lower that other pumps I reviewed before purchase.

I love the compact size. It comes in a zippered case. Has attachments that snap into the back securely. This was a very thoughtfully designed product,  and it gives a lot of peace of mind to have this in my trunk.

I’m absolutely happy to have a good car tire inflator in my car again, as I’ve gone for quite some time without one for some reason. I love a couple things with this inflator: it has a nice LED light that provides some good working light when I need to add air during dark hours, and the length of the power cord is so handy to get each and every tire filled if necessary. I like the way everything stows away when not in use, and that the air hose screws on to the stem of the tire when airing up. That’s helpful!! I love how compact the inflator is and the carry case it comes with. This will be in my work vehicle every day from now on!

So glad to have this in the car

TACKLIFE Car Tire Inflator 12V DC Portable Air Compressor 3 LED Lights . measures (8"x6.5"x3") inches & 2.2 lbs in weight, and a 10' feet cord. My vintage Porsche comes with a flat spare tire(space saving) and an analog tire inflator but needed a 2nd air compressor for my daily driver. 
 The Tacklife brand works great even though my sedan comes with a full spare tire, it did lose air last time I checked. Comparing the Tacklife to my old compressor. My old compressor has a 300psi rating vs Tacklife 150psi ( Tacklife takes 4-5 min to fill up a 15"-16" flat tire) The Tacklife is digital with preset & auto shut-off, also 3 modes of LED lights, storage for cables, 12v plug, one USB port, a spare fuse, and 3 different inflatable adapter tips. The quick connect on my old compressor (check photo) is much easier to use than the Tacklife screw-on type so that's the reason for the 4 star but I highly recommend the Tacklife. 30 day money back guarantee or 3 months if you register or 24 months if registered on their website.

Love the preset and Auto shut-off

I bought this air pump November 1st and have only used it twice. Tried to use it recently and it didn’t work. The tip of the plug has come off. I am highly disappointed and wasted my money.

Waste of money

This is a piece of junk.  Had to be replaced b/c wouldn't inflate tire.  Replacement worked for few minutes and then became totally DEAD.  Tacklife Customer Service in non-existent.  Phone line either never answers or states line inactive.

PIECE OF JUNK.

I bought a TackLife inflator/compressor online.  Once I received it, plugged it to make sure it would work.  It started up and air came out of the nozzle.  I then placed it behind the seat of my truck to use when needed.  After two weeks I had a need for the inflator and plugged it in to the lighter socket and it began to blow air, but there was a whine coming from the case.  I shut it off and picked the inflator up.  White pieces of plastic began to fall out of the case.  On closer look, I could see a white fan blade inside the case that had broken blades on it.  I tried to contact TackLife for a replacement on the fan blade, but there was no response.  I would not buy anything with the TackLife name.
